NPDES Construction General Permit Application Assistance

Ecosystem Solutions, Inc. provides assistance to clients who require construction general permits under National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) stormwater requirements. The NPDES Stormwater Permitting Program requires operators of construction sites of certain size to obtain authorization for stormwater discharge under two “phases” of the Program. They include:

Phase I. Operators of construction sites of five or greater acres (required as of 1990)

Phase II. Operators of construction sites that disturb one to five acres. (required as of March 10, 2003)

Ecosystem Solutions, Inc. provides construction general permitting assistance for Phase I & II projects. This includes:

  1. Determining applicability of federal, state, and/or local regulations
  2. Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) development, also known as soil erosion & sediment control plans
  3. Notice of Intent preparation and submittal
  4. Construction oversight
  5. Notice of Termination preparation and submittal
  6. Post-construction monitoring
